Black Mountain Peak II - The Return of the Runners
WE MADE it again to the top of Black Moutain Peak, this time the weather was much nicer as you can see if you look back in the blog from last year. In fact it was so nice we took a little extra time and had a picnic (I carried the turkey) on a set of rocks that are just a little way past this station. While we were admiring the views a trio of mountain bikers joined us and we had all sorts of interesting endurance sporte related talks. We even learned about a couple other spots; Grizzly [Peak,Basin?], China Grade - from which we could run from/to/through.I even learned that there are horseback endurance events, doing 150 miles through rough terrain on horseback which sounded fun.
Sissie is even sporting her new Big Sur Training long-sleeve that is pretty cool. Look out April, here we come!
